Baby Dedication, is dedicating the child to the Lord but waiting until later for the child to be baptized when he or she invites Christ into his or her life. Water is not used.

The following are questions you will be asked during your child's dedication. To ensure the integrity of the ceremony, it is important to read these questions ahead of time and confirm this is the commitment you would like to make before God and your church.
1) Do you repent of your sin?
2) Do you confess Jesus Christ as your Savior, put your whole trust in His grace, and promise to serve Him as your Lord?
3) Do you surrender your child into God's care and plans?
4) Will you nurture your child in Christ's holy church, that by your teaching and example he or she may be guided to accept God's grace for him or herself, to profess faith openly, and to lead a Christian life?
